Ingredients
  

Chicken

  • 700 g chicken breast, tenderloins or thigh Can use any cut of chicken.

Chicken Marinade

  • 2 tablespoon honey Can substitute with brown sugar.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Can use any oil.
  • 5 tablespoon soy sauce Can substitute with tamari.
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice Can use vinegar as substitute.
  • 2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce Can use ketchup as substitute.
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced Can use garlic powder as substitute.
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano Can substitute with rosemary or thyme.
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper, ground

Garnishes (optional)

  • finely chopped parsley
  • lemon slices

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Pound breast to even thickness or cut large ones in half horizontally to form 2 cutlets.
  • Mix marinade in a ziplock bag or container, add chicken.
  • Marinate for 30 minutes to overnight.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a skillet over medium high heat, cook chicken until deep golden.
  • Transfer to serving plate, cover loosely with foil, and rest for 3 minutes before serving.

Cooking Times

  • Whole breast and boneless thighs: 3 - 4 minutes each side.
  • Cutlets and tenderloin: 2 minutes each side.

Notes

Marinade works for any chicken cut; quick marinade can be effective in 30 minutes.
