Ingredients
  

Base

  • 250 g vanilla wafers
  • 150 g melted butter

Filling

  • 575 g fromage blanc (or quark)
  • 60 g mascarpone cheese
  • 200 g Lindt Excellence chocolate bars, chopped
  • 130 g sugar
  • 100 ml orange juice
  • 4 pcs eggs

Additional Flavor

  • 1 pcs chopped orange

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Place the vanilla wafers in a food processor and grind finely. Add the melted butter and process until the mixture comes together.
  • Spread the mixture evenly over the base of a greased 25cm springform pan and smooth with the back of a spoon. Cover with aluminum foil.
  • Preheat the oven to 120°C (250°F).
  • Stir the cream cheese until smooth to prevent lumps.
  • Add the mascarpone and sugar, and stir until smooth.

Cooking

  • Pour the orange juice into a saucepan and slowly bring to a boil. Add the chopped chocolate, remove from heat, and stir until melted.
  • Fold the chocolate and orange mixture into the cream cheese mixture. Gradually add the eggs, mixing well after each addition.
  • Pour the cream cheese mixture into the prepared springform pan. Place the springform pan inside a larger baking dish to create a water bath. Fill the larger dish with boiling water and place it in the oven.
  • Bake for approximately 45 minutes.
