Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 medium onion (preferably Vidalia)
  • garlic powder to taste
  • paprika to taste (optional)
  • cooking spray

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Slice the onion into ¼-inch thick rounds. Sprinkle half of the parmesan cheese in an even layer over the sheet pan.
  • Place the onion slices in a single layer on top of the parmesan.
  • Season the onion slices to taste, then lightly spray each one with cooking oil spray.
  • Add the remaining parmesan on top and bake for 20 to 30 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

Notes

For easier cutting after baking, use a pizza cutter. These pairs well with a 'secret' burger sauce for dipping.
